‘Sunset at Sugar Sands’ - art prints

Part of my ‘Discovering Northumberland, beginnings’ collection, this piece was inspired by one of my early trips to Northumberland when I went to popular Sugar Sands beach for a windy painting afternoon. There was sunshine, rain, a lot of wind, possibly even some hail, and a rainbow – a true British weather kind of day! I love the sea and so one of the things I was most excited about when relocating to Northumberland at the end of 2022 was being in such close proximity to it. Getting to see this coastline during all seasons and in all weathers is a joy, and this sunset that we happened across on a spontaneous walk at Sugar Sands sums up the unexpected beauty of trips down to the coast.

Printed onto thick 300gsm paper; not mounted. This paper is 100% recycled and FSC certified. It is a textured paper, beautifully tactile and with bright flecks throughout - the perfect canvas for these watercolour prints. Each print is individually titled and signed. 

Prints are packaged in recycled and/or reused materials, and will be well protected for their postal journey to you. Please be aware that these prints have a longer dispatch time due to being printed to order - I will process them as quickly as possible; please allow 10 working days between placing your order and it being sent out. Standard delivery is via Royal Mail’s 2nd class post. If you need your order to be fulfilled quicker, drop me an email and I will see what I can do.
