‘Sublime Seaton Point’ - art prints

The last stop on this leg of our discovery journey through my ‘Discovering Northumberland, beginnings’ collection is at Seaton Point. Possibly my favourite beach in Northumberland (at least at the moment), this was the first landscape I ever painted up here. I took a sketchbook and tin of watercolours down to this beach one afternoon whilst Matt was helping his dad’s on the farm, and I sat in the warm sunshine and painted this tranquil spot. When I was thinking about which places I wanted to include in this collection, Seaton Point was given a place because of that unassuming painting outing. I was happy painting on that beach for painting’s sake, playing with colour and brushstrokes, content that no one might ever see that sketchbook page. That carefree approach is one I want to rediscover whilst I keep discovering more and more of beautiful Northumberland.

Printed onto thick 300gsm paper; not mounted. This paper is 100% recycled and FSC certified. It is a textured paper, beautifully tactile and with bright flecks throughout - the perfect canvas for these watercolour prints. Each print is individually titled and signed. 

Prints are packaged in recycled and/or reused materials, and will be well protected for their postal journey to you. Please be aware that these prints have a longer dispatch time due to being printed to order - I will process them as quickly as possible; please allow 10 working days between placing your order and it being sent out. Standard delivery is via Royal Mail’s 2nd class post. If you need your order to be fulfilled quicker, drop me an email and I will see what I can do.
