The first piece in my ‘Discovering Northumberland, beginnings’ collection, ‘The view from the train, Alnmouth’, is an appropriate starting point. It is the view I most associate with arriving in Northumberland: pulling into Alnmouth station after a long train journey north and being greeted by this breathtaking view towards the Aln estuary and across the North Sea. On my first handful of visits to Northumberland, seeing this view meant I was about to reunited with my then-boyfriend, Matt, and have time together exploring this coastline and his home-county. It now signals that I’m nearly back to my new home! It’s a nostalgic and peaceful landscape that never fails to make me smile.

Printed onto thick 300gsm paper; not mounted. This paper is 100% recycled and FSC certified. It is a textured paper, beautifully tactile and with bright flecks throughout - the perfect canvas for these watercolour prints. Each print is individually titled and signed. 

Prints are packaged in recycled and/or reused materials, and will be well protected for their postal journey to you. Please be aware that these prints have a longer dispatch time due to being printed to order - I will process them as quickly as possible; please allow 10 working days between placing your order and it being sent out. Standard delivery is via Royal Mail’s 2nd class post. If you need your order to be fulfilled quicker, drop me an email and I will see what I can do.
