Alnmouth Tree limited edition linocut print
This limited edition reduction linocut print captures one of my favourite Northumberland beaches stretching from this iconic tree up to Seaton Point.
Reduction linocut is a method where each colour layer is taken from the same block, with details being carved away each time to build up the image. This print is made of seven layers, each carefully hand printed with a close attention to detail.
This is a limited edition and so there are only 10 of these prints total. Please be aware that each print is slightly unique due to the nature of hand printing across multiple layers. However, all prints in this edition are very similar to the photos shown here.
Printed onto 190gsm off-white paper, and mounted with your choice of either a white or cream mount (the first few photos show this print in white; the last two show the cream). These mounts are hand cut by myself, to a high quality but please be aware that I don’t claim to be a professional mounter!
The print itself measures 140 x 140mm. The mounted piece measures 250 x 250mm.
